As a world leader in fiberglass and reinforced plastics manufacturing, FormaShapeâ„¢, a division of Whitewater Composites Ltd., supplies customers with a complete range of design, engineering and manufacturing services. We are the largest builder of aquatic attractions in the world and are now seeking an evolutionary-minded Systems Support Technician.

As a key contributor within FormaShapeâ„¢, the Network Administrator assists and supports all types of personnel in all Value Streams and Departments in the Company by ensuring the smooth operation of the computer network and information systems. The position holds some responsibilities in software development and documentation

The Network Administrator will liaise with vendors in efforts to purchase computer and networking equipment for the Company. This position will constantly evaluate cost efficiency on purchases, and maintain great relationships with the Company’s vendors.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Completed first or second year of Information Technology Diploma/Certificate
  • Previous experience in network administration and PC troubleshooting
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Internet Service Providers
  • Ability to install & maintain Company computer servers, workstations, local and remote printers & common computer peripherals
  • Knowledge and ability to support common office applications: MS Office, MS Windows etc.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment and with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to formulate user training plans for new software
  • Demonstrated ability to be open to new concepts and ongoing learning
